Work in progress: Damascus #20

I decided to take a break from working with the big blades today and started a totally new project, a little kiridashi in damascus steel and with a beautiful caviúna wood handle and black streaked horn bolster, wich is shown here disassembled but now is already glued and should be finished tomorrow.
One of the things I like the most about the art of making knives is this: to start working with some odd, disconnected raw materials and turn them into a beautiful, usefull and unique object.
