Finished this one – the last of that six knife set I was working – last week, finally. It ´s lade is damascus steel and about 9 1/2″ long, and the handle is dark jacarandá wood with a polished stag bolster. I am having a hard time finding stag but this combination of colors, wich is the opposite of the usual Japanese handles, is really very striking.
