About the bottle opener idea I mentioned yesterday – and since I was also curious – I decided to make a prototype.
This piece is made of 304 stainless steel with a corase belt finish to add texture to its surface. It is 3/16″ thick – what makes it very solid – and just under 3″ long and like the damacus one, it is chanfered at both ends to act as a little prybar/top popper.
My goal is to be able to sell this standard version for US$ 30.00 while other finishes and materials would be porportionally more expensive and I am thinking about making a small test run of it. What do you think?
